Family Business Chair (University of Valencia)

The Family Business Chair of the University of Valencia (CEFUV), created in 2006, was promoted by the Valencian Association of Entrepreneurs (AVE), the Family Business Institute (IEF), the School of Entrepreneurs (EDEM) and the Valencian Institute for the Study of Family Business (IVEFA), and currently has the collaboration of CAIXABANK and BROSETA ABOGADOS.

The chair’s mission is “to contribute to the improvement of the competitiveness and sustainability of family businesses.”

To this end, it develops research, transfer, and teaching activities on the idiosyncrasies, particularities, and specific problems of these businesses.

The collaboration between the promoting institutions aims to foster the exchange of experiences, information, and knowledge in the field of their activities, the development of joint activities, and the organization of meeting spaces among all actors interested in the management of family businesses and business families: academics, professionals, entrepreneurs, and students.

Since 2018, the Cerón family (Servytronix) has been attending the breakfasts where we share experiences with entrepreneurs from the Valencian Community and enrich ourselves from each and every one of the presentations we attend.
